TRAVELING THE GLOBE - MAKING THINGS UP

In the spring of 2001, a local newspaper ran an ad seeking individuals who would be interested in joining a professional improv troupe that was being formed in Fargo, ND. A group of strangers auditioned and began The LineBenders.
20 years later, we are still entertaining audiences big and small across the nation and, even though some of the faces have changed, the excitement of creating something out of nothing still exists.
The LineBenders have performed for groups such as Microsoft, 3M, US Bank, countless youth and civic groups, as a featured act during comedy festivals, on the USS Lexington, as a part of Comics for Courage: Raising Money for the Wounded Warrior Project and in just about every banquet hall in North Dakota, Minnesota & South Dakota.
Over the last two decades there have been more than 40 members of the longest running professional improv troupe in the region. Some started when they were only a 18 and other members are a whisper away from collecting Social Security. More family than co-workers, these amazing people have had the pleasure of stepping on stage together to create something out of nothing in front of hundreds of thousands of people.
A special thank you to the fans who have attended corporate gatherings, public performances and even made their own fan t-shirts for their constant support. The LineBenders have always considered the audience - no matter the size, to be another performer with us on stage. These are YOUR suggestions, YOUR venues and YOUR laughs. We just get to go along for the ride.
